About Our Church
Our History
Christ's Church Whitewater Inc was founded on September 20, 1983 — over 42 years ago — with a simple but powerful vision: to be a community where faith is lived out in love, service, and genuine fellowship.
Nestled along Highway 85 South in Fayetteville, Georgia, our church has grown from a small gathering of faithful believers into a vibrant congregation that continues to serve our community with the same humble spirit that defined our founding.
For more than four decades, we have walked alongside families, celebrated milestones, offered comfort in times of sorrow, and shared the joy of God's grace together.

We gather together to worship, learn, and grow in faith. All are welcome — come as you are and experience the warmth of our community.
Sunday School
Bible study and small groups for all ages. Children's Sunday school and nursery available. A wonderful time to grow in God's Word together.
Sunday Worship Service
Our main worship service — a time of praise, prayer, and the Word. Drop kids off at the Kid Zone at 10:30am. Coffee & snacks every Sunday!
Youth — The Dub
Our Wednesday youth program for teens and young people. A safe, fun, and faith-filled environment to connect, grow, and belong.
Children's Ministry & Nursery
We believe children grow best when nurtured by loving mentors and teachers. Our Sunday mornings are filled with music, Bible study, and crafts. Nursery care is available during all services.

Our Beliefs
As a Methodist church, our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and shaped by the Wesleyan tradition — a faith that is personal, practical, and expressed in love for God and neighbor.
The Holy Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the primary guide for Christian faith and practice.

We believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three persons in perfect unity.

Salvation by Grace
We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, available to all who believe.

Prevenient Grace
We believe God's grace is at work in every person before they come to faith, drawing all people toward Him.
Sanctification
We believe in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit to transform believers into the likeness of Christ — a journey of growing in holiness.
The Church & Sacraments
We practice Baptism and Holy Communion as sacred means of grace, and believe the Church is called to worship, serve, and make disciples.
Social Holiness
Following John Wesley's teaching, we believe faith must be lived out in service to others — caring for the poor, the sick, and the marginalized.
Resurrection & Eternal Life
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and the promise of eternal life for all who trust in Him.

Serving Together
Our Ministries
There is a place for everyone at Christ's Church Whitewater. We offer ministries for every age and season of life.
Children's Ministry
A nurturing environment where children discover God's love through music, Bible stories, crafts, and caring teachers. Nursery available for infants and toddlers.
Youth Ministry — The Dub
Wednesday evenings from 5:30–7:30pm, our youth gather for fellowship, worship, and growing in faith. A safe and fun space for teens to belong and thrive.
Family Ministry
We believe strong families build strong communities. Our family programs offer support, encouragement, and resources for parents and families at every stage of life.
Small Groups & Bible Studies
Deepen your faith and build meaningful friendships through our small group Bible studies. Groups meet throughout the week in homes and at the church.
Community Outreach
Inspired by John Wesley's call to social holiness, we actively serve our local community through food drives, neighborhood support, and compassionate outreach programs.
Worship & Music
Music is central to our worship life. Our worship team leads the congregation in heartfelt praise each Sunday, blending traditional hymns with contemporary worship.
